Raining Slush

When I woke up this morning it was raining slush. It finally changed to actual snow later in the morning. This is the warning that winter will be here very soon. Here are a couple more images that Honey took. The yellow bush grows at the edge of an old copper mine in the area. The mine has been abandoned, but the locals use the back roads to walk & bicycle on. The color contrasts there are amazing. He took the other shot while we were off-roading up a local trail. We call his GMC pickup "the beast" because there are very few places it won't go and in bad weather, there was no stopping it. Our happiest times are when we're loaded down with camera gear and traveling down little known trails.

So today, I will pull the shades, turn up the bluegrass, and live in my delusions a bit longer.

May the Lord bless you.
