Follow Up

Things are still moving along here at the cabin. Spring fever has hit everyone ~ even the dog & cat. Our storm door to the back porch has turned into a revolving door with all of us going out to see how much the snow has melted and back in again to wait just a little longer. The warm days are such a blessing!

I told you previously how Honey's letter to the editor about the legislation concerning organic food & small farms had created a stir. Well, the reporter from News Channel 5 can't seem to commit to a time to do the interview and we are still waiting to see if she's serious or not. An aid for our House Representative Peter Welch spoke with Honey on Monday and ever so smoothly tried to divert Honey's attention to the Senate Bill 425 as one to be watched. S425 is basically the same legislation coming at the farmers from another direction. The life of a politician. I wouldn't give you a dime for it. Our simple life here at the cabin is just fine for me.

Have a good night, and may the Lord bless you.
