It’s a beautiful day here at the cabin. The nights are getting colder, but the weather couldn’t be much more perfect during the day. Fall is already warmer than summer. Isn’t it funny how that happens sometimes?

This past weekend we were on another road trip. We spent all last summer in search of just the right motorhome, one that would take us South in the winter. A few weeks back, we found it outside of Portland Maine. It was old and needed some tweaking, but it would do nicely. It was paid off last week and by Saturday morning we were on our way. A lot happened on our little two-day trip, so this will have to be written in pieces. First, I wanted to show you a little of the sights along the way to Maine.

These were taken in Northern New Hampshire. One is of a small mountain lake. If the trees look a little blurry, it’s because Honey’s lead foot was pointed east! He kept telling me that if I saw something that I wanted to take a picture of … just tell him, and he would stop. Have you ever tried to stop a freight train on a dime? By the time I would see something wonderful, it would be gone in a split second. He did however stop for the picture of the road going into the mountains. (Honey even took the picture for me.) Bear in mind that we were sitting on one mountain looking down the road. Isn’t God’s work totally amazing!!! In just a few weeks, this will all be a kaleidoscope of color. Unfortunately, the roads, parking areas, etc. will be so full of leaf peepers that the best you can hope for is a shot of the back of someone’s head. You know, people spend an awful lot of time and money traveling up here to get a small glimpse of God’s handiwork. I just wish they ‘knew’ the God who created it all. He has things more awesome than this for us to see and experience.

“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him."” 1 Corinthians 2:9

Can you imagine how much more beautiful heaven will be?

There were so many occurrences on this trip, that I can’t possibly squeeze them all into one post. I just wanted to give you some pictures of the countryside while I try to get everything sorted out and written down.

Have a great day, and may the Lord bless you.
