Thank You

Yesterday was warm and pretty here at the cabin. We had a heavy frost last night, and right now the high temperature is a whopping 40 degrees. The frost has melted off where the sun hits; but in the shade, it's still there. The sunshine is beautiful and good for the spirit. It's a good day to be a cat. The idea of curling up by the window to absorb the warmth of the sun through the glass seems like a really inviting idea.

Just a little update on Alan. The last word I had was that he made it through the surgery fine. He's sitting up and eating on his own. They apparently found some scar tissue and what appears to be the beginning of a new tumor, but was able to get it all. I suspect he will be out of the hospital by the end of the week and back in the barn supervising. Praise God.

There's not much else going on around here lately. The last we heard, Honey still has about 6-7 more weeks of work before layoff. And we're spending every spare minute of free time on getting the motorhome ready to go. The old saying: "Work like everything depends on us and pray like everything depends on God." sure seems to apply right now.

I'm out of time for today, but I just wanted to pass along the update and thank everyone for the prayers. It's so nice to know that when the storms start looking their worst, the Saints are standing ready to pray.

Have a great day and may the Lord bless you.
