Here are a few more pictures from last night's snow storm. Except for the occasional car or plow truck going by, everything is so quiet. The cabin is warm, there's fresh bread that I made yesterday, and I'm about to put a pot of stew on so Honey will have something warm to eat when he gets home. All in all, everything's good and we're blessed.
May the Lord bless you.

Snow out your way, snow way out west, and snow here in Minnesota. I think we're getting an old fashioned winter!
God Bless!
By the way, wish I was there with that fresh bred and pot of stew :)
The old Timers around here say that this is like the winters they remember having years ago. We got more snow today ... about 12-15 inches so far and it's still snowing hard. This Texas girl is learning to shovel snow like a pro.
How deep did it get with you folks? All in all, we've got almost 2 feet with the combined snow storms and another one is forecasted for Wednesday.
What's that song? "I'm dreaming of a WHITE Christmas"??? ;)
Seeing that I ain't exactly a spring chicken no more I can remember the rough midwest winters of years gone by and must say that this one seems to want to start looking like they did years ago! And what I really like is the old timer farmers, (older than me), are getting excited because back in the =m years with rougher winters the growing seasons were generally really good ones and that's badly needed in these parts once again. It been many a year since we had what we'd call a normal year. Had blah open winters for years and then droughts in summer.
I'd say we have a foot and a half so far, this last snow was picture perfect, but then the sub zero winds came and took care of that!
God Bless and a Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Ya'll have a Merry Christmas! May the Lord bless you with Love, Joy, Peace, and WARMTH.
